Our History

FROGCO Amphibious Equipment was founded and launched in August 2001 by entrepreneur Garrett J. Naquin to support a wide range of amphibious project requirements for a client portfolio consisting of Property Owners & Developers, Construction Firms, Pipeline Dredging, Petrochemical Companies, State & Local Agencies, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Mr. Naquin built FROGCO from a small, Southeast Louisiana marsh buggy rental service to one of the region’s leading and most successful amphibious equipment and services firms. He developed all of FROGCO’s departmental infrastructure, including Research & Development, Fleet Maintenance, Client Services, Equipment Manufacturing, Field Operations, Project Management, Bids & Proposals, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Office Administration, Finance & Budgeting, Safety & Occupational Health, Staff Training, and PowerSafe Operator Program.

The topology, geology, hydrology, challenges, and working conditions of the Gulf Coast Region of the United States require a unique and specialized approach to Levee and Terrace Construction, Right of Way Clearing, Containment Dike Work, Dewatering Disposal Areas, and Large-Scale Environmental Work.

To effectively and efficiently handle this unique environment, FROGCO Amphibious Equipment, LLC. provides marsh buggy rental services, customized equipment solutions, as well as the operational expertise, technical skills, project management, and equipment needs of its clients.
